I received an e-mail from Jim Pogue a few days prior thanking me for
report and telling me QSL was on its way. In another message Jim says, "I
hope to start seeing some reports from overseas soon. I've received about
10 from stateside so far."
WINB We'll be making two freq changes in the coming days: 9265 will be
replacing 9320 from 1100-1300 and from 2300-0400. The FCC has asked us to
leave the channel after Andrews AFB base said that WINB was causing
interference to their communications. This change will start at 1100 on
Jan 12th.
13570 will be used seven days a week in the period of 1600-2100 UTC. We
had been using 9740 Mon-Fri at this time. This change will start at 1600
on Jan 23rd. Reception reports are welcome to

We are especially interested in reports on 9265 as this is a new freq for
us.
All are authorized 7 days a week, but we know they had not really been
operating daily. Are they now on the air ANY days of the week, or has
there been another breakdown?
FWIW, there are no logs of it in the Jan 5-11 period at
UZBEKISTAN Radio Tashkent drops SW.
Following a tip off from Kai Ludwig in DXLD it seems Radio Tashkent has
by an annt saying that from January 1st 2006 the programmes of Radio
Tashkent would be on the internet site including English at 0100, 1200,
1330, 2030 and 2130 UT followed by the regular English programme.
(Mike Barraclough-UK, WDXC-UK Jan 8)
I tried their broadcasts to Europe this evening which use to be heard
strongly, but R Tashkent was definitely off at 2010 on 5025 (German
