Inzwischen 0855 UT ist das Signal auf dem SANGEAN nur noch zu erahnen, auf<br />

dem SONY kommt gar nichts mehr an. Aber der haeusliche Stoernebel bei mir<br />

ist auch leider staerker geworden. :-(<br />

INDONESIA 3976.06 RRI Pontianak at 1234 UT on Apr 28. Noted back on the<br />

air after a 2-day hiatus with a program of subcontinental music. Fair<br />

signal, although didn't seem quite as strong as usual.<br />

4749.96 RRI Makassar at 1230-1302 UT on Apr 28. Indo vocals, M&W ancrs;<br />

ID at 1300 UT as "Radio Republik Indonesia Makassar" and into Jak relay<br />

with no SCI. Very good signal.<br />

3987.08 RRI Manokwari (tent.) at 1145-1225* on May 3. Apparent<br />

reactivation of this RRI outlet. Vocal mx to 1158, then M ancr, SCI, and<br />

Jak program at 1200 // 3976.06 and 4604.95. The Jak pgm ended at 1225 and,<br />

after a brief annt, the station left the air. Fair signal but could not<br />

make out much of the talk due to ancr's soft voice and the local static.<br />

This was Manokwari's old freq but has not been reported for years. Hope<br />

this reactivation is permanent!<br />

3987.08 RRI Manokwari (pres) at 1144-1220* UT on May 4. Vocal mx from<br />

1144 UT tune-in; then joined in-progress Jak program late at 1203 UT, and<br />

pulled the plug at about 1220 UT before Jak relay had ended. Fair signal<br />

but ham QRM.<br />

9680 RRI Jakarta, on Apr 30 at 0959-1020 UT, KGRE program #5104, begins &<br />

ends with song "Waltzing Matilda"; Kevin interviews actor (Nicholas<br />

Saputra), record producer (Agnes Monika) and Aussie students visiting<br />

Southeast Sulawesi, songs "Rupuh" and "So Beautiful", fair.<br />
