NETHERLANDS/VATICAN STATE Radio Vatikan in DRM auf 7240 kHz?
RV soll sein D-px auch via HOL auf 7240 kHz in DRM ausstrahlen. Ich kann
das px aber nicht empfangen. Im aktuellen RV Pxblatt steht auch nichts
davon. Weiss wer mehr?

NETHERLANDS ANTILLES Special DRM txions for Consumer Electronics Show
Today (5 Jan) and tomorrow (6 Jan) we will have an extra DRM txion from
Bonaire on 15525 kHz at 1800-2155 UT beamed to the NE part of the USA (350
degrees). This is connection with the Consumer Electronics Show that's
taking place in Las Vegas.

Indeed it is, and that's why I didn't say it was beamed to Las Vegas :-)
I don't know why it's not on 320 degrees, but there is presumably a good
reason. I only pass on information I receive, and this literally came in
while I was preparing the Newsletter for mailing, so I didn't have time to
ask questions.

Sharon's stroke, attacks in Iraq. S/N ratio about 23 dB would support much
better audio than this 14 kbps broadcast is capable of providing. Another
lousy sounding DRM demonstration broadcast for the attendees of CES (why
aren't they using more bits?).
