The Russian religious station R Radonezh returned to SW yesterday on 5940
via a high powered SW relay at *1800-2000* UT.
This evening (March 02) I hear it on 5940 since *1800 with a fantastic
signal, SINPO 55555 ! They began with hymns, then ID and telephone numbers
in Russian, followed by a religious talk by a man. At 1815 a lady was
phoning in maybe with a question and the man continues talking while I
send this at 1820.

Just a guess - these could be Samara related "873" kHz mixing products.
8243-873 = 7370 kHz. 8358-873 = 7485 kHz.
There might be something audible also on lower side: 6497 and 6612 kHz.

SRI LANKA Sri Lanka puts clocks back by 30 mins.
Sri Lanka will put back its clocks by half an hour and revert to the
practise of having the same standard time as India after its 10-year
experiment to save daytime failed.
President Mahinda Rajapakse said the country will revert to its original
standard time, five and a half hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time[rather
UT], which the country maintained till May 1996.
