Pressesprecher der Schweizer Bischofskonferenz. Der Schweizer Journalist
hat Geschichte und Journalismus an der Universitaet Freiburg studiert und
war beim "Boten der Urschweiz - Die Suedostschweiz" taetig. Nach weiteren
journalistischen Arbeiten wechselte er im Maerz 2004 zur
Informationsstelle der Schweizer Bischofskonferenz. Mario Galgano wird bei
Radio Vatikan einen Schwerpunkt auf die Berichterstattung aus der Schweiz
setzen.

DRM study.
I think it depends much more on where you're living, than analog signals.
I've also seen some reports of good results from Germany, but all about
800 kilometers away from my hometown.
3995 kHz in analog mode in past received with SINPO 55555 all night long,
but now in DRM mode I have problems to receive it with good quality.
I am trying from time to time within the last 1 1/2 years to receive DRM
signals, but O=5 signals I had only 3 or 4 times. Especially on mediumwave
the situation is very bad. The analog stations are heavily interfered by
the DRM signal, but there is no chance to decode the audio signal
properly. The interesting (European) freq 1485 kHz is nearly unusable for
DXing because of German low-power DRM tx.

GOOGLE EARTH TRANSMITTER SITE SEARCHES.
Dear Glen[n], how do the people get the images from Google for the radio
towers and such? I saw some in the last DXLD and would like to search
some. I saw a post about two towers in Tripoli and towers in Qatar. Could
you give me some help?
