(...) Aus Anlass des 70. Geburtstags organisiert Radio Prag fuer den 22.
Juni 2006 ein Hoerertreffen in Prag. Das Programm beginnt um 0900 Uhr MESZ
mit der Begruessung im Gebaeude des Tschechischen Rundfunks (Vinohradska
12, Praha 2). Nach einer Besichtigung des Rundfunkgebaeudes und der
Studios von Radio Prag folgt die Abfahrt nach Podebrady und die
Besichtigung der Sendeanlage, von der aus Radio Prag 1936 seinen
Sendebetrieb auf Kurzwelle aufgenommen hat. Nach dem Mittagessen und der
Rueckkehr nach Prag soll der Tag ab 1730 Uhr MESZ mit einem geselligen
Abend mit Radio Prag im "Restaurant Kamenny most" (Smetanovo nabrezi 195,
Praha 1) unweit der Karlsbruecke ausklingen.
Wer am Jubilaeums-Hoerertreffen von Radio Prag teilnehmen moechten, muss

DENMARK DSWCI special programs celebrating the 50 years of the DSWCI The
third special radio program has just been fixed. Mystery R, Italy during
the night Sa/Su May 06-07 at 2000-0700 on 6220 in Italian and English,
produced by the DX-er Roberto Scaglione of BCL DX Club from Sicily.
Correct reception reports on all these special programs mentioning the
DSWCI 50th Anniversary are going to be verified later on with a new
Special QSL-card from the DSWCI. You can send your reports to: Anker

DRM Dear Noel & Wolfgang, Thanks for your today's mail.
Noel, I do understand what you mean by "I suppose it is what we call a
chicken and egg situation - which came first! If DRM is not broadcast who
will buy a receiver?", but examples like the one Wolfgang mentions today,
i.e. "DLF 1422 kHz will then be used 24 hrs with 400 kW (DRM mode
hopefully then, when DRM capable receivers - for 50-100 EURos are
available on the worldwide market then - latter I doubt ].", only seem to
prove something is wrong is being done at the taxpayers' expenses if DRM
capable rxs are being so difficult to find, and when seen, then their look
is enausiating.
