CUBA RHC has added a 13 MHz channel for its morning broadcast, VG on
13750, Sept 23 at 1341 with talk about the Juegos Centroamericanos, then
"Agenda 21" segment, ecological report about rehabilitating DDT to fight
malaria, per OMS (WHO) report.
Also still heard on // 6000, 9550, 11760, 11805, 12000, 15230. At 1359 UT
I compared it to 15230 and found they were not precisely synchronized, a
reverb apart, so different sites or program feed routings. At 1353 UT the
OC for CRI relay on 13740 was already on 10 kHz away with its perpetual
squeal but 13750 was strong enough to withstand it. 13750 probably runs
>from 1100 to 1500 with Despertar con Cuba. Have not yet caught a freq annt
to confirm whether they know about it in the studio or it is permanent
rather than experimental.
DIEGO GARCIA QSL AFRTS: Seen no reports on AFRTS QSLs for a while,
received this week full data AFRTS card for Diego Garcia, 4319, 4 Apr,
2002-2110Z.
Address
Department of Defense, NMC Det AFRTS-DMC, 23755 Z St. Bldg 2730. Riverside
CA 92518-2017, U.S.A.
Signature appears to be "Robert Winkleman" ?
(Ron Killick-NZL, hcdx Sept 28)
12579u AFN, Diogo Garcia, 1012-1050 UT, 23 Sept, English (what else?!),
talks; 15441. This has already been caught w/ a stronger signal at this
time.
(Carlos Goncalves-POR, wwdxc BC-DX Sept 29)
DRM UNID DRM on 6015: Presumably Issoudun, cf.

TDP registered 6015 kHz as their own freq for both T-Systems and VT sites
(presumably TDF was no option yet at the time A06 freqs were coordinated),
but only between 0700 and 1700, so this presumed Issoudun txion before
0700 really should not have been there.
(Kai Ludwig-D, dxld Sept 26)
This is to inform you that the unID DRM station on 6015 kHz is TDF from
Issoudun, France. The station is on air from 0700 to 1500 UT. On Sept. 22
also VT Communications did some tests in AM on the same frequency.
(Klaus Schneider-D, DRM DX, via dxld Sept 27)
Referring to Noel's question some days ago about the DRM transmission on
6015 kHz after 0700 UT, today the signal was strong enough to be decoded,
although I only got occasional audio (pop music - no announcements heard
so far).
The ID is: "TDF ISS 6015: Audio AAC SBR parametric stereo 20.9 kbps ---
Text 80 bps."
(Erik Koie-DEN, dxld Sept 28)
Just received an e-mail reply from Sangean Europe, telling me that
production of their DRM-40 receiver will presumably start in December 2006
and hopefully be available from January 2007. So no Sangean DRM receiver
for this year's Christmas season...
(Michiel Schaaij-HOL, wwdxc BC-DX Sept 28)
"Meine Frage: Hat jemand die neuste Dream-Version 1.6.25 schon fuer
Windows kompiliert und koennte sie zur Verfuegung stellen? Die 1.1.6, die
ich gerade verwendet habe, ist wohl nicht mehr ganz die neuste."
