And just tonight I found this recently published page about the Wiederau
(that's "Leipzig") SW tx:
Note the handwritten original of the last schedule for summer 1993 (times
are CET there). I must say that I was not aware of Wiederau still running
SW at this time, earlier publications said that Wiederau shortwave went
dark already in 1991.
It is even possible that I already stood near Wiederau village on a look-
out for the station while the SW tx was still on air. But assuming that
Deutsche Welle txions there were already over I did not take the SW radio
with me, unlike on a similar trip to Koenigs Wusterhausen where I enjoyed
6115 as full blow local signal, as I later did with the old Nauen txs.
Anyway SW operations at Koenigs Wusterhausen and Wiederau ceased
simultaneously, in autumn 1993.
Was actually any frequency-specific information about RBI sites available?
If not the question will now be answered for Wiederau.
