DW Special QSL Card on 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany will be issued in May
2006.
Nach Auskunft der DW wird es uebrigens auch ab etwa Mai 2006 eine DW-
Sonder-QSL-Karte zur Fussball-WM 2006 geben. Ich bin schon sehr auf das
Motiv gespannt. Die Karte von 1974 mit Tipp und Tapp war klasse.

Deutsche Welle apparently has dropped its use of the World Radio Network
to broadcast to North American listeners. DW had maintained a 10am (ET)
[1500 UT] seven day half-hour slot which could be heard on Sirius
Satellite Radio, channel 140. The 10am slot is now occupied by Radio
Prague, which also broadcasts three other times each day to NA via WRN.
At this point, DW continues to appear on the PRI World (Sirius channel
136) schedule at 9pm (ET) weekdays with a broadcast of Newslink Plus. DW
continues to broadcast in German on SW to NA each evening as well.
