BRAZIL Quite a few obs. 6-10 Sep, incl. on MW where stns would fade in
as early as 2115+, e.g. R.Uirapuru, Fortaleza CE, 760 kHz, 2118-2131, 06
Sep, 44343, and then an even better catch on 09 Sep 2130 w/ a 55444
rating. Another good one was the tiny R.Vanguarda, Caridade, also CE
state, 2227-2236, 10 Sep, 43432, QRM de B. This time, no luck with midday
reception on 9 MHz, and just some on 11 MHz. Static noise plagued most of
the bands, incl. 11 MHz, most of the time, except on MW, where conditions
were quieter (!). Even during the evening, the conditons were adverse on
31 m, and no sign of R.Cultura 17815v, day or night, but surely on acount
of poor propagation.
