should there be some. BEN was nothing but a guess of mine, but I've logged
it ages ago on 1476v. By the way, kindly note "Rough RF" should read "DF"
instead, for direction finding that is.
IRELAND 252 Irish public broadcaster RTE has confirmed that the 252 kHz
Israel Radio should now have made its winter frequency changes effective
Dec 15 to Feb 28, i.a. concerning English:
0430-0445 6280 ex-9345, // 7545, 17600
2000-2025 6280 ex-9345, // 7545, 15640
So how is 6280 doing?
(Glenn Hauser-OK-USA, dxld Dec 19)
KOREA D.P.R. With DW on 6075 less noisy nowadays, the dear comrades on
6070 have been audible almost daily around 1200. On most days the carrier
is swinging back and forth irregularly, but occasionaly it may be properly
locked on channel.
LAOS Unusually good conditions towards Asia today, Dec 15, in our local
UT morning and afternoon. Highlights, albeit reception at threshold level
only. 7145 Lao National Radio, Vientiane, 1250 snippets of unID SE Asian
language, might have been Khmer as scheduled here 1230-1300 UT. Clear
frequency until co/channel RNZI DRM appeared 1258 ruining everything.
Nothing there when I rechecked 1400 UT. Tentative, was wondering if anyone
else has heard this??
(Martien Groot-HOL, dxld Dec 5)
No response to my call in dxld 6185 so far so I'm trying again:
7145 - presumed Lao National Radio, Vientiane, after a few days of
complete silence again heard on Dec 19 from 1241 to 1258 UT, clear freq,
slightly better than on Dec 15. All talk in same drone, not a single note
of music, doesn't sound like Chinese or Vietnamese, so keep thinking this
might be Khmer unless this isn't LNR at all? If anyone else can hear this
would you please help?
