confirming independently that AWR is indeed on the air, 7110 kHz 250 kW at
2000 UT from the Wertachtal facility in Germany.
(Adrian Peterson-USA, DX Editor, AWR Jan 4, dxld)
IBC-Tamil 7315 via Wertachtal. I received a full-data e-mail 13 hours
after sending an e-mail to Walter Brodowsky at T-Systems for a logging in
Bao Loc, Vietnam.
I had previously reported this direct to IBC-Tamil and sent a follow-up
but received no response. Which isn't surprising since IBC-Tamil never
replied to any of the several reports I have submitted over the years for
loggings in Kansas.
[GER o Maldives] Minivan Radio was "put on hold" Jan 1 following a visit
to the Minivan office in Sri Lanka by eight members of the Interpol
division of the Sri Lankan police. This stemmed from accusations by the
Maldivian regime that Minivan Radio was broadcasting without a license
within Sri Lanka and that its journalists were involved in an attempt to
smuggle arms and weapons in the Maldives.
"After they searched the property and found no guns the (Minivan) team was
able to reassure them that nothing like that was taking place. It's
basically the long arm of the Maldives police reaching over and trying to
intimidate Minivan Radio and Minivan Nx to shut down." Despite the
accusations of sedition by the Maldivian govt,, independent monitoring of
Minivan Radio indicated that the prgm was b/c from high-powered xmtrs in
Germany, not from Sri Lanka.
"They thought that we're b/cing from Sri Lanka to the Maldives, and
obviously I don't think they quite grasp the technology behind SW b/cs."
um 1552 UT mit guten Signal (S/meter 59+ momentan weissen bis so 0=0 und
dann geht wieder Signal rauf, langsames Fading) eine Ansage sagte "Das ist
(Marcel ZK192 from France)
Ein Mischprodukt der beiden Sender in Heusweiler, 1422 und 1179 kHz.
