also via Sebaa Aioun 7115 10 kW. They also had a foreign sce on Sebaa<br />

Aioun 6170 50 kW, Tangier 50 kW on 11735 15380 and 10 kW on 15410 - the<br />

reported schedule also lists 9615 11725 and 15360 but no sites.<br />

Down "memory lane" in 1960 SW is not listed to carry the dom sces but they<br />

had a foreign sce at 1230-1430 in Ar on 15185 50 kW and 15345 10 kW.<br />

O.Lund Johansen (the then editor) lists them as Rabat in the freq<br />

listings.<br />

Information was not so easily available then as it is now, so we should<br />

remember that when turning to the past, I think.<br />

I could'nt prevent my eyes drifting to other stns then on air such as R<br />

Dersa, Tetuan, on MW & 6067 1 kW and seven stns in Tangier - four having<br />

SW facilites - and I can remember hearing The Voice of Tangier with<br />

religious progrs on SW. If only we had available then the rxs we have<br />

today - and could afford to buy them!<br />

NEW ZEALAND RNZi advises that it will be testing its new DRM tx on<br />

Thursday 19 Jan from 0120 UT for approx 45 mins on 15720 kHz.<br />

Radio New Zealand International DRM sce starts around 1 March.<br />

Latest information from Radio New Zealand International (RNZI) is that the<br />

full DRM Service, originally due to start on 22 January, will be delayed<br />

and is now expected to start around 1 March. The RNZI sce is intended<br />

primarily for partner stations in the Pacific that relay RNZI programmes<br />

off SW. The schedule will be:<br />
