RTA through Transradio - Telefunken Berlin inaugurated on 28 Feb 2006 a
new TRAM O.M. MW Sender on 981 kHz in d'Ouled Fayet site near Algier.
Daytime target map is also included. Old 2 x 300 kW equipment seemingly
scrapped now. 981 kHz is well heard here in Germany in darktime.

ASCENSION ISL Radio Prague: 11665. Full-data [except site] Josef Bozek
card in 3 weeks. I always like receiving QSLs from Radio Prague since they
remind me of the really interesting Radio Prague studio tour I received
many years ago. And after the extensive tour they even gave me a number of
LPs of Czech classical mx.

BELGIUM 927 kHz relays VRT Radio Donna in the morning.
During the three weeks of the Tour de France (cyclism), the VRT is
relaying the morning programme of VRT Radio Donna between 9 and 12 local
time instead of Radio 1. Incidentally, this means that in the city centre
of Brussels, Radio 1 can no longer be heard (the FM freq for Brussels is
barely audible within houses and offices in the capital - the local FM
band in Brussels is a total chaos, mainly due to many illegal (French and
Arabic lang) stations).

CVC is not doing quiet well on regular 17680 in our daytime as before,
showing some fadings. 11665 for the early nightime period is occasionally
inaudible at all, while // 6070 is splattered by DW German sce before 0400
on 6075. Excellent program by female announcer is on the air between 0300
and 0400 with suitable advices.
