IBRA Radio (tent), 15450 in presumed listed Somali at 1732 on 8/18 with
brief religious-type vocal at 1740. Very weak, though. Off or lost at
listed 1800 closing.

I heard Voice of Oromiya Independence via Juelich on 15650 from 1500 until
1530 today, Saturday, 19 August, in presumed Oromo. At 1500 Radio Miami
International annt by Jeff White; then instrumental theme mx. Most of the
broadcast was a man speaking, with many mentions of Oromo, Oromoto,
Oromiya, etc. Theme mx again at 1525 began as instrumental but soon added
a male singer who mentioned Oromiya many times. Transmitter off at 1530.
Fair signal throughout the broadcast.

Google Earth Imagery. Discovered wrong co-ordinates for IBB Lampertheim in
TDP. Should be 49 41 15 N 08 32 20 E. Good pic for Google Earth
exploration.

Lampertheim is a former Radio Liberty site, started in the 50ties with 10
and 50 kW units.
Sister station Biblis, situated 11 kilometers southeastwards, is the
former Radio Free Europe site, started at same time on a former
Reichsluftwaffe airfield[German Airforce in WW II], used 10, 20, and 50 kW
units,
at locator 49 36 03 N 08 29 30 E.

mehrere Sticker von 104,9 OldieStar Radio, v/s ist Marisa Busch. Ich hatte
an Digital Radio Berlin Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, Pfalzburger Str. 43-44,
10717 Berlin geschrieben. Die Antwort kam aber von 104,9 OldieStar Radio,
Andre-Pican-Str. 42, 16515 Oranienburg.
