Apparently this TSW2250D has been installed because it's a dedicated DRM
tx, not because there would be a lack of capacity. My data suggests that
never more than three of the six AM txs are on air simultaneously, with
the peak hour being 0300-0400 when there are BBC Spanish on 6110, NHK on
9660 and CRI on 9720. Ironically they have no RFI on air at this time.

RFI DRM tests via Montsinery, French Guiana. RFI informs that they will
perform DRM test txions via the new 150 kW DRM / 250 kW AM tx in these
days between 1900 and 2145 UTC as follows:
- 21645 kHz to Europe on 17, 20, 24, 26 and 28 July,
- 15795 kHz to Brazil on 18, 21, 25 and 27 July.

GAMBIA 648 GRTS, Bonto, has been rather erratic reception conditions
wise, and the best log was on 8 July, at 2040-2120 UT, Vernacular, tribal
songs, nx 2100 UT; 43442, QRM de G but mostly de E.

GERMANY 1431 / 1359 / 1503. Parasite signals 1359/1503 kHz - final
report. It has been confirmed by German DXers that the parasite signals on
1359 and 1503 kHz come from the Voice of Russia relay tx in Dresden-
Wilsdruff (1431 kHz, 250 kW), Germany. On the A4 highway Leipzig-Dresden
which runs very close to the tx site the strength of all three signals is
equal. In more distant areas the parasite on 1503 kHz is weaker than the
one on 1359 kHz.

Now I think the culprit is already known.
It seems to be clear now after I found another identical signal on 1503
kHz. It is a bit weaker that the one on 1359 kHz. Both signals are // to
1431 kHz (Dresden-Wilsdruff, Germany) which is quite new and very strong
Voice of Russia relay.
A bit of calculation helps:
1431 - 72 '=' 1359
1431 + 72 '=' 1503
So the 1431 tx produces these parasitic signals on both sides of its
frequency.
It is no local thing, parasite signals can be heard 400 km easterly with
fair strength in the morning at 0400 UTC.

This signal can be heard also in locations north-east of Brno, the Czech
Republic, what is almost 300 km easterly of my location. The signal comes
with fair level at peaks, but it keeps its chaotic character. Time of
reception: 0400 UTC.
