Dear Glenn, What you published from the German source is nearly correct.
In fact the initial schedule (which you can publish) will be:
It will initially carry WRN English for Europe but within a short time
will carry other content as well.
Hmm, if on at 0900 Sat, that may include WOR on 15735 DRM (gh, dxld)
BURKINA FASO 5030 on 8 Jan at 2320 UT, 45433. R.Burkina in French. Call-
in show, afro songs at callers' requests. Heard here quite regularly. This
time its signal strength was equal to Turkmen Radio (5015) and Xinjiang
PBS (5060).
At night 5/6 Jan I visited my summer cottage near Moscow, in order to test
my newly purchased Degen 1103. Keeping in mind positive comments on its
low-SW performance, decided to check 2310 kHz first. And yes, there was
ABC (i.e. VL8A) with English broadcasting there! Very loud signal at
1600-1900. Parallel 2485 kHz was also audible, but signal was too
uncomfortable.
R. Burkina Faso (5030 kHz) noted with a good signal at 1700-1900. Never
heard neither ABC nor Burkina before. R.Chad came stronger than Croatia on
6165 kHz. Also could hear Mauritania on 4845 kHz.
Then, 6 Jan in the morning exact time & freq station RBU (Moscow) was
heard on 66 2/3 kHz. But no voice / CW information found out.
CANADA Jacques Bouliane of CBC Transmission Services reports that they
have recently purchased a second DRM exciter, which will give them more
DRM capacity than at present. Despite a recent increase in electricity
rates in Canada, prices for DRM airtime will remain the same.
Incidentally, Jacques says that they have analogue airtime available
during the local North American daytime hours for those who would like to
do supplementary SW txions during these hours.
