Zur Info: Die DRM-Tests von RTBF kommen direkt aus Wavre und haben mit<br />

Junglinster ueberhaupt nichts zu tun. Beam Richtung N-Amerika. Der Sender<br />

ist uebrigens bereits on air.<br />

(later) Es gibt einige dubiose Eintragungen fuer Junglinster beim HFCC,<br />

u.a. auch die 5925. Das hat aber mit Belgien nichts zu tun. Dass fuer<br />

Wavre ein neuer DRM-Sender (Thales TSW 2100D mit 100 kW) bestellt wurde,<br />

ist seit September 2005 bekannt.<br />

7th. Noted here in Stuttgart today at 1000-1300 UT approx.<br />

Beam towards North America. New DRM equipment from Thales TSW 2100D with<br />

100 kW of power.<br />

Thanks to Klaus Schneider, giving the technical details, and correcting<br />

the previous wrong info about RTBF DRM mode transmission planned via<br />

Junglinster LUX site.<br />

Further DRM mode broadcasts heard by yours truly in the 1200-1400 UT slot.<br />

AOR 7030, 20 kHz IF out, 12 meters longwire, decode software DREAM v1.6.28<br />

5925 RTBF Wavre 24 to 27 dB SNR signal noise ratio. [not Nov 10th, wb.]<br />

9870 NZL 7 dB, AM QRM on adjacent, DRM not fetchable<br />

Wavre DRM test. They use the NAm antenna for these tests; that DOES NOT<br />

IMPLY, these tests are meant for NAm target. The staff at Wavre are due to<br />

test the new Thomson TX equipment and DRM encoding PC features. So they<br />

puff and blow their digital towards the Atlantic Ocean.<br />

RTBF on 5925 kHz <br />

RTBF, the Belgian public broadcaster in French, will conduct a test<br />

transmission on November 7, 2006 in DRM from 1000-1200 UT on 5925 kHz.<br />

This coincides with a press release about RTBF's plans regarding its<br />

future plans for digital radio, including podcasts, DAB and DRM. The
