Kann mir jemand sagen wer um 1200-1400 UT auf 17840 kHz in Franzoesisch
sendet? Kann dies LJB / Voice of Africa sein?
(Ralf Ladusch-D, A-DX Jan 21)
OM H. Meixner from Austria just reported on A-DX list that Algeria is back
on SW. He heard it on Jan 23, 1200-1320 UT, on 17840 in // to 252 Chaine
3, but delayed by 6 seconds. First reported by R. Ladusch on Jan 22 in
French, 1200-1400 UT.
Check this out; I won't have the time at noon during the next days.
Algeria used to be on 41m and 16m back in the 90s, on 17745 as far as I
recall, and used to send nice QSLs.
(Eike Bierwirth D, dxld Jan 23)
Suspect it's a relay from somewhere else; France?
Strangely, the ONLY use of 17840 currently shown at any time by EiBi is:
17840 1600-1700 LBY LJB Voice of Africa A NAf via France; and same in
PWBR.
(gh, dxld Jan 23)
