progenies <strong>of</strong> ICTP 8203 and CGP. <strong>The</strong> rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g two populations (GGP Bulk and PVGGP 6) are yet to be<br />

analyzed. Approximately two-fold variation was observed for both gra<strong>in</strong> Fe and Zn content <strong>in</strong> both ICTP 8203<br />

(55.3−138.2 mg kg -1 Fe and 38.9−106.7 mg kg -1 Zn) and CGP (64.4−150.7 mg kg -1 Fe and 57.9−99.6 mg kg -1 Zn)<br />

(Figs. 3 and 4). N<strong>in</strong>e progenies <strong>of</strong> ICTP 8203 and 23 <strong>of</strong> CGP population had gra<strong>in</strong> Fe content <strong>in</strong> excess <strong>of</strong> 100 mg<br />

kg -1 (100.3−150.7 mg kg -1 ); and 10 progenies <strong>in</strong> each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> two populations had gra<strong>in</strong> Zn content <strong>in</strong> excess <strong>of</strong> 80<br />

mg kg -1 (80.5−106.7 mg kg -1 ). <strong>The</strong>re was highly significant (P70 mg kg -1 Fe and >50 mg kg -1<br />

Zn identified (KNR/RB/KLS, 2009)<br />

Stability <strong>of</strong> gra<strong>in</strong> Fe and Zn content: Twenty-eight entries represent<strong>in</strong>g a wide range <strong>of</strong> Fe and Zn content and<br />

selected from a 120-entries trial conducted for two seasons along with a check OPV (WC-C 75) were fur<strong>the</strong>r<br />

evaluated dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> summer and ra<strong>in</strong>y season <strong>of</strong> 2005 and <strong>the</strong> summer season <strong>of</strong> <strong>2006</strong> for stability <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se<br />

micronutrients. Gra<strong>in</strong> Fe and Zn data from <strong>the</strong>se five trials were subjected to stability analysis follow<strong>in</strong>g Eberhart<br />
