Cash Receipts and Gift in Kind Receipts All procedures outlined for processing non-restricted receipts are also applicable to restricted receipts. In addition to the procedures outlined for non-restricted receipts, the following procedures are to be adhered to. Coordination through University Advancement All receipting for cash gifts to the university, including funds received for the purpose of scholarships, tuition remission, or monetary awards to students where UNCW determines the recipient. All gift deposits must be made by University Advancement Services. (See ADV 1.30.) The Athletics Department departments that will generate receipts during their normal course of business are: a. Seahawk Sports Marketing (Advertising and Corporate Sponsorships) Seahawk Sports Marketing (SSM) is charged to secure corporate sponsorships for the Seahawk Club.
