STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONFIDENTIAL DATA: As
administrative support for the Deputy Athletic Director, this position is responsible for a
large quantity of confidential information regarding personnel and student-athletes.
OTHER CHARACTERISTICS OF POSITION: Any other duties as assigned by the
Director of Athletics.
PREFERRED ABILITIES: Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), HR Banner
Training, excellent communication skills, five years experience working in business
environment.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT STAFF/ATHLETIC OFFICE
JOB TITLE: Insurance Coordinator/Seahawk Shop Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION: Insurance Coordinator for student-athletes and Seahawk Shop
assistant. Works with coaches and trainers to complete student-athlete insurance
information. Maintain confidential records, monitor student-athlete files and processing
of claims. Assist the Assistant Director of Seahawks Sports Marketing with sales in
Seahawk Shop and reconciling sale receipts and preparing deposits. This individual
understands that compliance is a central element of employment and is responsible for
adhering to NCAA, CAA and institutional rules and regulations.
Coordinates information for distribution of Athletic Department monthly calendar and
facilitate the Internal Operations Committee (IOC). Any other duties as assigned by the
Director of Athletics.
REPORTS TO: Associate Athletic Director for Business.
POSTIONS DIRECTLY SUPERVISED: N/A
BASIC FUNCTION: Student-athlete insurance coordinator and Seahawk Shop
Assistant.
POLICY MAKING AND/OR INTERPRETATION: Knowledge and understanding
of departmental, university, and NCAA policies and procedures and the ability to
