athletic facility shall be given to the sport, or sports, in season as per policy set by the
Department of Athletics.
The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities is also responsible for coordinating
scheduled groups in the usage of indoor and outdoor athletics facilities. Various facility
areas have different times for scheduled usage, and users are required to abide by these
times. In addition, certain facility areas, such as the Harold Greene Track and Field
Complex, have posted regulations regarding usage.
Coaches, administrators, staff members and other University personnel are not authorized
to grant permission for the use of athletics facilities. Coordination of services,
contractual requirements, facility availability and safety considerations necessitates that
scheduling be done in a central location.
The following criteria will serve to determine whether a group is given permission to use
these facilities:
1) The best general interest of the University and Department of Athletics
2) Availability of the facility on the dates and times requested
3) Demonstration of financial capability to cover all projected costs
4) Demonstration of required insurance capabilities
5) Ability to meet all facility requirements according to specific dates listed in
contract
6) Miscellaneous additional requirements set forth by the Assistant Athletic
Director for Facilities
