• UNCW Sports Medicine Sweatshirt/Sweater may be worn
• UNCW Logo Sweatshirt/Sweater which does NOT advertise a
fraternity/sorority or other University organization that is not affiliated
with athletic training may be worn, but a Sports Medicine logo is
preferred.
Jackets/Parkas:
• UNCW Sports Medicine jackets are preferred as outerwear
• In the event one does not own or have access to a UNCW Sports Medicine
jacket, personal jackets may be worn when environmental conditions
permit so long as they advertise nothing beyond the manufacturer of the
jacket. All other logos or emblems are unacceptable.
Shorts/Pants:
• Khaki, navy, or black short/pants may be worn
• Gym shorts are only allowed to be worn when associated with increased
temperature environments
• Black or navy wind pants may be worn during clinical hours, or for pregame
and post-game times in the event the environment makes it difficult
to maintain clean and professional shorts/pants as a result of the duties that
need to be performed (i.e. pre-game taping, post-practice/event whirlpool
or cooler cleaning) or in the event of inclement weather.
• NO “short-shorts” will be allowed
• NO jeans or “cut-offs” will be allowed
Shoes:
Hats:
• Solid toe shoes with socks should be worn
• Clean sneakers may be allowed
• Sport sandals, flip flops, summer sandals, and bare feet will NOT be
allowed
• MAY NOT be worn in any indoor athletic training venue
• May be worn at practices outdoors
• If worn, must advertise UNCW and/or specifically the clinical sport
assignment
• MAY NOT advertise a fraternity/sorority, or other University organization
that is not affiliated with Sports Medicine
• Bandannas are not acceptable
