APPENDIX B - HOLIDAYS<br />

This table should be used for employees who are appointed or recalled or on a voluntary reduction<br />

in hours during a pay period in which a holiday occurs as described in the letter in Appendix B1.<br />

Such employees shall have their holiday pay prorated on the following basis, based on the hours<br />

worked or paid in the next pay period which does not include a holiday. This table should also be<br />

used for employees who are laid off or terminated during a pay period in which a holiday occurs,<br />

but the proration should be based on the hours worked or paid in the most recent previous pay<br />

period which does not include a holiday.<br />

**These hours include paid leaves of absence, paid vacation and sick leave, and compensatory<br />

APPENDIX B1 - HOLIDAYS<br />

For employees not covered by Appendix B, eligible employees who normally work less than<br />

seventy-two (72) hours per pay period and eligible intermittent employees and temporary<br />

employees shall have their holiday pay prorated on the following basis.<br />
