The Appointing Authority shall have the right to set standards for the color and style of Firefighter's<br />

uniforms, a reasonable level of cleanliness and a reasonable standard for the condition of<br />

Firefighter's uniforms. This standard may be established locally by the Fire Chief.<br />

Article 11<br />

Camp Ripley<br />

Article 15, Section 4C of the Master Agreement shall be supplemented and/or modified as follows:<br />

Seasonal employees shall be laid off in inverse order of Classification Seniority within the principal<br />

place of employment of the position(s) to be eliminated unless waived by mutual agreement<br />

between the employee and the Appointing Authority. For the class Stores Clerk, principal place of<br />

employment shall be defined as: (1) ammunition; (2) subsistence (Class I); (3) area supply; and (4)<br />

supply and services.<br />

For the class Training Site Worker, principal place of employment shall be defined as: (1)<br />

ammunition; (2) subsistence; (3) area supply; (4) supply and services; and (5) engineering.<br />

Article 15, Section 4E of the Master Agreement shall be supplemented and/or modified as follows:<br />

Seasonal employees shall be recalled in the order in which their names appear on the seasonal<br />

layoff list for the seniority unit and principal place of employment from which they were laid off and<br />

shall have preference for any temporary jobs in the principal place of employment in their class<br />

which are established during a period of seasonal layoff. For the class Stores Clerk, principal<br />

place of employment shall be defined as: (1) ammunition; (2) subsistence (Class I); (3) area<br />

supply; and (4) supply and services. For the class Training Site Worker, principal place of<br />

employment shall be defined as: (1) ammunition; (2) subsistence; (3) area supply; (4) supply and<br />

services; and (5) engineering.<br />

Article 12<br />

Heavy Equipment<br />

See Appendix F, Section 2 for the assignment of Intermittent Heavy Equipment.<br />

Article 13<br />

Flex-time Scheduling<br />

The Appointing Authority and the local union may mutually agree to a flex-time scheduling plan.<br />

Article 14<br />

Pay Differentials<br />

Intermittent Heavy Equipment operating assignments shall be made on the basis of State Seniority<br />

from among qualified employees who are available and capable of performing the work and<br />

assigned to the same work area.<br />

Employees who work on high voltage (over 600 volts) power lines shall receive a differential of<br />

$1.15 per hour for all hours worked.<br />
