During the 2013-2015 round of bargaining with <strong>AFSCME</strong>, Council No. 5, the parties agreed to the<br />

following wage inequity adjustments:<br />

<strong>Minnesota</strong> <strong>Management</strong> and <strong>Budget</strong> staff will work with the affected agencies to determine the job<br />

expectations of Library Technician positions, to identify benchmarks, and evaluate positions to<br />

determine if there are distinctions in classifications.<br />

Effective September 25, 2013, employees in the above listed classes shall convert to the new salary<br />

range with no increase in pay unless an increase is necessary to pay the employee at the minimum of<br />

the new salary range.<br />

Employees who have been at the maximum step of the old salary range for at least one year as of<br />

September 24, 2013 and move to a step below the maximum rate of the new salary range, shall be<br />

eligible to move to the next step in the new salary range effective September 25, 2013 provided his/her<br />

performance is satisfactory.<br />

These increases shall not affect the date of the employee’s next anniversary date, nor shall any<br />

employee be eligible for more than one progression increase in the September 24, 2013 pay period.<br />
