Article 1<br />

Hours of Work<br />

Article 5 of the Master Agreement shall be modified as follows:<br />

Fixed Night Shift:<br />

Article 5 of the Master Agreement shall be supplemented and/or modified as follows:<br />

In MN.IT Services, the night shift schedule shall be fixed.<br />

Article 2<br />

Overtime Distribution<br />

Article 6, Section 4 of the Master Agreement shall be modified as follows:<br />

MN.IT Services:<br />

Overtime distribution for the EDP Tech classifications shall be as follows:<br />

1. Five (5) functional work areas shall be established for the purpose of overtime distribution.<br />

They are:<br />

<br />

<br />

Production Control Documentation;<br />

Operations Center Services;<br />

Storage <strong>Management</strong> (Tape Library);<br />

Systems Operations;<br />

Input/Output Operations.<br />

2. Overtime shall be offered on an equal distribution basis as defined in Article 6, Overtime,<br />

Section 4, Distribution except that employees scheduled on vacation the day before or after an<br />

overtime shift shall not be credited for offered overtime and not worked. Distribution shall be<br />

calculated based on the number of hours worked, not the number of times contacted.<br />

3. Overtime hours shall be zeroed out June 30 of each year.<br />

4. Overtime known in advance shall be offered in the following order:<br />

Capable and qualified employees within the functional work area, who normally work the<br />

shift the overtime is needed;<br />

Capable and qualified employees within the functional work area, who normally work other<br />

shifts.<br />

If all capable and qualified employees decline the overtime, it shall be assigned to:<br />
