The campus is one work area for the reassignments to the Community Site. <strong>Management</strong> will not<br />

fill behind temporary reassignments to the Community Site.<br />

<strong>Management</strong> will use the Hours of Work, Fixed Night Shift language of this Supplement for any<br />

reassignment to night shifts at the Community Site.<br />

(For Anoka Region only)<br />

If you are an LPN temporarily working on a unit that is not your normally assigned unit and you are<br />

concerned about unfamiliar patients, you will not be required to administer medications unless<br />

another employee who is familiar with the patients is available in the vicinity when medications are<br />

dispensed.<br />

Fixed Straight Shift Positions: (For the Anoka Region only)<br />

Article 12, Section 5 of the Master Agreement is changed as follows:<br />

1. Limited straight shifts will be utilized on Units B, C, D, E, G, H, Miller North and Miller South.<br />

2. Each identified unit will permanently post:<br />

An early shift full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN),<br />

An early shift full-time Human Services Technician (HST), and<br />

A late shift full-time Human Services Technician (HST).<br />

3. The use of straight shifts in Units B, C, D, E, G, H, Miller North and Miller South will remain in<br />

effect as long as the current business need/programmatic design of the unit continues. Should<br />

the defined business need/programmatic design change in any of the identified units, both<br />

Labor and <strong>Management</strong> agree to Meet and Confer to discuss the continued appropriateness of<br />

using straight shifts. Following the Meet and Confer, should the decision be to discontinue the<br />

fixed straight shifts on any or all units, a thirty (30) day notice will be provided to the other party.<br />

4. Should the defined business need/programmatic design change in any unit not currently<br />

identified above, both Labor and <strong>Management</strong> agree to Meet and Confer to discuss the<br />

appropriateness of initiating straight shifts in that work unit.<br />

Eligibility for Bidding<br />

Article 12, Section 6 of the Master Agreement is changed as follows:<br />

You may bid within six (6) months if your most recent bid occurred because your work area closed.<br />

(For Anoka, St. Peter and Willmar Regions only)<br />

If you are not eligible to bid on a vacancy, you may submit an expression of Interest form. If there<br />

are no successful bidders on a posting, <strong>Management</strong> may consider your expression of interest. If<br />

you are selected to fill the vacancy based on your expression of interest, you may not bid or<br />

express interest on another vacancy for six (6) months following the date of your bid/expression of<br />

interest.<br />
