Part-time Employees:<br />

Your schedule must include:<br />

<br />

At least four (4) days off in a two (2) week period.<br />

At least two (2) of the days off must be consecutive.<br />

No more than seven (7) consecutive work days.<br />

When full-time and part-time employees cannot be scheduled to cover for medical and parenthood<br />

leaves, your supervisor can schedule an intermittent employee.<br />

METO Only: Unless other arrangements are agreed to by you and your supervisor, your schedule<br />

must include at least one (1) weekend off out of six (6).<br />

Work Day:<br />

Article 5, Section 3.B of the Master Agreement is changed as follows:<br />

For METO only: The normal work day will be from four (4) to ten (10) hours within twenty-four (24)<br />

hours, not including a duty free, unpaid meal period. You may or may not be scheduled a duty free<br />

meal period.<br />

METO DTH or Community Support Services (CSS): Your posted schedule can be changed<br />

without penalty if you work in the METO DTH or Community Support Services. Your supervisor will<br />

make a reasonable effort to follow your posted schedule, but may change your posted schedule<br />

with three (3) calendar days notice if it is necessary to obtain or maintain a job opportunity for a<br />

client or if it is necessary to respond to a client in crisis.<br />

Your qualifications will be the primary consideration.<br />

Your supervisor will consider State Seniority<br />

If the service where you work is temporarily not open or is underutilized, your supervisor will offer<br />

you a choice of any combination of the following:<br />

Temporary reassignment<br />

Paid leave, or<br />

Unpaid leave.<br />

You and your supervisor must agree on the resulting assignment/leave.<br />

Work Schedules:<br />

Article 5, Section 3 of the Master Agreement is changed as follows:<br />

Definitions:<br />

Weekend: Saturday and Sunday are the weekend unless defined otherwise. If you work the night<br />

shift, your weekend is Friday and Saturday.<br />
