Aga<strong>in</strong>, the representation of the sky as an arch will expla<strong>in</strong> why<br />

various <strong>ancient</strong> goddesses of the earth appear either immediately<br />

beneath, or <strong>in</strong> close connexion with, an arcuated structure. The<br />
