If, for example, you are sponsoring a mailing list digest with 5000 subscribers that is
published each business day, or five times a week, the cost is:
5 issues per week x 5,000 subscribers = 25,000 exposures.
$20 CPM x 25,000 exposures = $500 per week.
Where to Look for Sponsorship Opportunities
Finding a newsletter or mailing list digest to sponsoring requires similar consideration to
finding a site to hosting your banner ad:
1. Target Audience: First, you have to find your target audience. What are they subscribing
to? What’s available to them?
2. Mailing List Directories: search these directories for ones that reach your target
audiences and possibly sell sponsorships:
