Electronic Yellow Pages are handy for finding businesses. Try Big Yellow.
Did you know that you can also search for graphic images? AltaVista supports an image-searches
technique: enter "image" as your query prefix. Yahoo! has sections devoted to finding graphics at
its site.
A number of image-specific search engines exist but don’t be surprised if you are disappointed
with the results. Image searches are certain to be much better in the future. For now, try:
Image Surfer, a Yahoo subsidiary, searches image-based Web sites.
WebSeer allows you to search by subject, colors, dimensions, and origin. It has a database of
over 750,000 images.
