In high-level terms the scope of the airfield works is summarised below: • South of the T2A Terminal Building: • 2 No. Medium Stands, • 2 No. JX MARS Stands • East of the T2A Terminal Building: • 4 No Medium Stands safeguarded for conversion to 2No. JX MARS Stands, • 2 No Medium Stands • Pavements for new aircraft stands, head of stand road, parking/lay-bys and footway round T2A. • Airside services (new, abandonment, protection and diversion) including strategic services required to serve T2A. • Temporary airside road diversion and airside security fencing. • Delivery strategy is based on Airline Relocations Move Sequence 3.1 dated 13/01/09. • The phases of this project will be delivered on the following dates: • Temporary airside road and security fence in place by April 2010. • Airside early services diversions complete by April 2010. • Currently there is no requirement to handover individual stands prior to T2A opening.
