The reconfiguration of Pier 5 to allow the operation of a dual
code F taxi way north of the CTA.

BAA: • Improved passenger experience and ASQ/QSM scores.
• Improved taxi way operation by creating a further element
of a fully toast racked western apron.
• Remove any pier 5 operational constraints to the full
operation of code F aircraft on the northern taxi way.
• Improve airfield flexibility and functionality
• Support the introduction of a western campus toast rack

Assumptions:
The following points cover the significant delivery assumptions related to this project;
Code F stands – all MARSed, 3 airbridges per stand, 2 PCA units per stand.
The scope of this project is to:
• Undertake the stand and building reconfigurations required to support code F
operations from pier 5.
• Remove any pier 5 operational constraints to the full operation of code F aircraft on
the northern taxi way.
• No new air bridge on existing MARSed stand.
• All stands require pre conditioned air.
• Use and Refurbish existing Air bridges for 2No / stands.
• Provide 1 new stand.
• All Parking for stands needs relaying, inclusive of assoc services work.
• Road scope, extends to white line only.
• An ability to board / disembark simultaneously on MARSed stands is required.
