This is aScriptural recognition of the fact that fromAdam, the original fountain of life, will flowfour streams: <strong>The</strong> Little Flock, who are to sitdown with Christ in His Throne; the GreatCompany, who are to stand before the Throne,having the palms of martyrdom but without thecrowns of glory; the Ancient Worthies, theJewish fathers, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Daniel,etc., who are to be made princes in all the earth;and the world of mankind, who will constitutethe subjects of the Kingdom over which theAncient Worthies will rule. <strong>The</strong> same lesson istaught in the division of the Levites into fourcamps, each located on a different side of theTabernacle. (Num. 3:15; D653; F129.) It is alsotaught in the Apostle's statement in 2 Tim. 2:20,that in God's great House there will ultimately befound four classes of vessels to His praise.<strong>The</strong> question for the saints is not as to which ofthe earthly classes may ultimately include them,for they have given up their earthly hopes inexchange for Heavenly hopes. <strong>The</strong> question iswhether they shall be wise virgins, faithfulstudents of the Word, building with the gold,silver and precious stones of Divine Truthinstead of foolish virgins (pure of heart) (Matt.25:2; C94; F75) who build faith structures withthe wood, hay and stubble of human tradition.<strong>The</strong> Apostle says the fiery trials of life willFM135try every man's work so as by fire, and intimatesthat those who do not build wisely shall sufferloss— not go into eternal torment, but fail togain the great reward which otherwise might be
