Ezekiel 17:9.Say thou, Thus saith the Lord God: Shall itprosper? shall he not pull up the rootsthereof, cut off the fruit thereof, that itwither? It shall wither in all the leaves of herspring, even without great power or manypeople to pluck it up by the roots thereof.—<strong>The</strong> time of God's Kingdom having come, Godpurposes to uproot the new ecclesiasticism. Itscharacter fruitage, being of the spirit or thisworld, must be cut off and withered in the fierytrials of this tribulation time.
