Ezekiel 35:5.Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred,and hast shed the blood of the children ofIsrael by the force of the sword in the time oftheir calamity, in the time that their iniquityhad an end.— These economic-politicalmovements— Socialism, labor-unionism,syndicalism, nihilism, and others, but notincluding anarchy, which will swallow themup— have had a long standing hatred againstecclesiasticism, have spoken and worked againstit, and against the social order characteristic ofthe past age. In the overthrow of ecclesiasticism,the fleshly-minded tares, "Edomites" and theclasses mentioned, will turn on theFM541clergy and laity of the churches, as well as uponthe Lord's spirit-begotten children— upon anyremaining to profess Christianity, whetherthrough adherence to the church systems orthrough consecration to God— and willslaughter them by thousands.Ezekiel 35:6.Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I willprepare thee unto blood, and blood shallpursue thee; since thou hast not hated blood,even blood shall pursue thee.— In gatheringsof Socialists, there is no end to the differences ofopinion as to what Socialism is and how it is tobe worked out in practice. This factional divisioncontains the seeds of the destruction of the shortlivedgovernmental system of Socialism, underwhatever name, for a bloody end. They courtedrevolution and shall receive of the same.Ezekiel 35:7.Thus will I make mount Seir meet desolate,and cut off from it him that passeth out andhim that returneth.— Thus will God cause thebrief Socialistic phase of the Time of Trouble tobecome "most desolate." Not one personconnected with it shall escape the universalanarchy, the last and worst phase of thetribulation.
