The Ezekiel Temple represents God's finishedwork. The Holy does not type the spirit-begottencondition, but rather the memory of it as aDivinely accomplished work— for theexperiences of the spirit-begotten condition willnever be lost. The Most Holy types theaccomplished Divine nature. No furnitureappears in either of these sacred chambers,except in the Holy, an altar of a kind of wood notstated— an altar designated as "This is the tablethat is before Jehovah."If it is to be the same as is in Solomon's Templeit will be cedar— type of immortality, the Divinenature. No mention is made of offerings at thisaltar, for the time of the Christ's sacrifice will bepast. The interior of both chambers will besheathed with wood— presumably cedar, type ofimmortality— up to the narrow windows at thetop of the inner wall of the Temple. The interiordecorations of palm trees, alternating with twofacedcherubim, with the faces of a lion and of aman. type that the purpose and concern of God'sglorious Temple will be the administration of theaffairs of perfect righteous men (palm trees)under the joint auspices of Divine Justice andLove.If the two-leaved doors into the Holy and theMost Holy are to be of the same wood as inSolomon's Temple, they will be of olive, type ofthe peace of God that passeth understanding forthose privileged to enter through the door ofChrist.— Ezek. 41:13-24.Back of, or west of the rear of the Temple, andseparated from it by the twenty cubits of theseparate place will be the western building, astructure of inside dimensions 70 by 90 cubitsand with walls 5 cubits thick, making the outsidedimensions 80 by 100, or including the 20-cubitseparate place, 100 cubits square, indicating theDivine perfection of the class represented by it.This is not connected in any way with the altar orthe Holy or Most Holy, and its use is not stated.It answers the description of such a class ofbeings as the angels.— Ezek.
