with success, a command termination message will be then sent. The sequence of commands and
responses is standardized in IEC 61850-7-2.
59.4 Communication Services
The communication services for an IED are described in the communication model by the so-called
abstract communication services (Figure 59.5). These services must be implemented in an IED by using
standardized protocols, (SCSM).
