MYANMAR 5915 Myanma Radio, at 1512 UT on Jan 13. Perhaps a change in
their schedule! Heard in vernacular with a lecture till 1517 UT; started
segment of non- stop indigenous music and songs till 1529 UT; assume sign
off announcement; 1530* UT. Noted the usual CRI QRM. This format is
consistent for their Educational Service _ Distance Learning programming,
which since mid-2009 ended at 1245 UT, followed by indigenous music and
songs till 1300 UT
This needs more monitoring to see if we can hear any lectures in English,
as heard in the past.

917 MW, Radio Gotel Yola, at 2131-2205 UT on Jan 08, African music and
vernacular ann, from 2200 UT on in English. Only audible during musicalbreaks
of Radio Slovenija on 918 MW, O=1-2.

PAKISTAN Pakistan seems to have revived it's out of use 250 kW
transmitter, and it's been heard between 0830-1105 UT on 15100 kHz the
last two days, and also on 9340 kHz at 1700-1900 UT. But 11565 kHz which
should be in use from 1330-1530 and 1600-1610 UT only has a unmodulated
carrier today, so maybe the transmitter is still not working correctly?

9340 noted at 1800-1900 UT with 20% modulation only, 7535 was much, much
better modulated.

Islamabad-Rewat has reactivated the 250 kW transmitter that had been off
air since some time last year, although there still appears to be a
problem with the modulation level at times. So these services can now be
heard on two frequencies once again...

World Service to WeEUR 0830-1105 on 15100 and 17700 (includes English news
at 1100)
