The program will be essentially the same as the English broadcast to North
America on 09. October. The main feature will be audio clips from the
Radio St. Helena Day 2009 programs.
There will also be information about the RMRC, comments on RSH and RSD by
Robert Kipp, and (we hope) some special comments by Mr. Toshi Ohtake of
the Japan ShortWave Club (JSWC). The RMRC wishes listeners everywhere good
reception conditions.

Real DX happening, program content is also excellent. Sitkunai 79 degr
antenna is centered towards Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Hainan Isl,
Philippines, but JPN and KOR situated like 45-50 degr further north, from
Lithuania. Some 35-40 degr difference away of main lobe from Sitkunai-LTU.

KYRGYZSTAN 5130 on 15 Oct, at 1718 UT, UNID, poss. Radio Maranatha.
Heard with long winded religious-sounding soft talk by a man. The language
was not oriental, and sounded more like Farsi. At 1730 UT, short pieces of
gospel music were played, done by a mixed chorus to guitar and piano.
After that there were two long selections done by a woman and then dead
air after 1743 UT. AOKI lists this from 1457 to 1743 UT. I guess they just
keep the carrier on or make adjustments, etc. Perfect signal with no QRM
except for about 30 seconds at 1730 UT due to 4-level FSK bursting about
3 kHz down. With this signal strength it should easily make it to Europe
and Asia.

pops, chatter; 34422, almost unnoticed co-ch. QRM by UNID stn, then
blocked at 1530 UT by some IBB outlet with prgr in either Dari or Farsi.

MOLDOVA 6240 STANAG signal hit also R. PMR (PRIDNESTROVYE) from

mode, due of heavy STANAG digital maritime navy signal in range approx.
6242 to 6249 kHz. Severe microphone bassy signal quality, via Grigoriopol
