CHAD At present at 2214 UT Dec 28, both French language newsreader of
R. National N'Djamena, female and male are noted on exact 6165 kHz (not
split frequency).
[later] 6165.0 NX in French til 22.25 UT, S=9+25dB, at 22.29:49 UT
Chad's National Anthem played til 22.30:58 UT. TX in N'Djamena switched
off at 22.31:14 UT.

CHINA 10300 25 Dec, 0845 UTC, Firedrake with the jug band in full swing
and going to town. Poor signals without QRM (dunno what they're trying to
jam) and slight fading.
12613 25 Dec, 1017 UTC, XSQ Guangzhou Radio, CW Marker and SITOR bursts.
Good signals, slight fade, no QRM.

3950 Xinjiang PBS, Urumqi, 2315-2335, 23 Dec'10, tone signal followed by
a period of silence, then IS at 2330 UT, Mandarin & English ID,
announcements, talks; 45433.

CHINA [and non] 7105 Chinese with good signal amid 40m hamband, Dec
25 at 2238 UT. Soon found // 7440 kHz echoing and mixing with other
signals, but on 7105 at 2246 UT only a fast SAH, no other modulation
audible. It is of course, CNR1 jamming Sound of Hope which uses 7105 kHz
only at 22-23 UT.
On 7440, the jamming is vs VOA Chinese via Thailand, but also blasts CRI
Japanese via Beijing, per Aoki list.

CROATIA Es ueberraschen immer wieder die verschiedenen Sender vom
kroatischen Radio Zagreb aus Deanovec mit ihrer Frequenz-Ungenauigkeit. Am
21.12. 3985.114 kHz um 2335 UT. Heute morgen 6164.969 kHz um 0705 UT
S=9+10dB - gestern genau auf 6165.000 kHz vom Techniker neu geicht, jetzt
genau 7370.000 kHz um 0820 UT.

CUBA 6180 25 Dec, 0312 UTC, RHC in Spanish with interview and man on
telephone rambling about everything from the US, to Venezuela to Palestine
and Israel. No shortage of political opinions on this day. Fair level with
slight interference from a station with Arabic chanting (unid.) and slight
fading. Another amazing catch at 8117 miles! TXer blew the air at 0328 UT.
