Also domestic HF sites from GE updates in previous months (not sure if you
have these already):
Xichang, Sichuan (Sichuan Station 505): 27 48 47 N 102 13 49 E
WB: > 2 MW mast at 27 48 32.55 N 102 13 43.82 E
big MW mast at 27 48 42.21 N 102 13 46.24 E
SW array 180 degrees 27 48 46.83 N 102 13 48.76 E
AOKI says stn #520, 2135/2155-1600 UT, 6060/7225 kHz 10 kW, non-dir
antenna.
- much better visibility than previously in June imagery update
Yushu, Qinghai: 33 00 00 N 97 00 01 E - post-earthquake imagery for this
area (15 Apr 2010) is visible in "historical" view.
WB: > CHN Gyego [Jiegu],Yushu, Qinghai. 882 kHz, ex6075 kHz 15/50 kW
(Alan Davies, - comments by wb., SW TXsite July 5, 2010)
and a communications feeder tower too, at
38 12 49.92 N 114 06 15.50 E
Yes, we had these three sites according G.E. and Terraserver in July 2008:
The latest GE update puts all of Hebei Province and some surrounding areas
into medium resolution which should include the two Shijiazhuang SW sites.
I think the CRI site 951 Nanpozhuang is around 38 12 58N, 114 06 16E, with
a complex of buildings extending into the hilly area southwards and also
some buildings and roads/tracks extending northwards into the plain, and
hints of antenna arrays also. The location fits various descriptions on
the web, but the GE images aren't really clear enough to see for sure
whether it's really a transmitter site or not.
There should be another SW facility in Pingshan County (Station 723) with
about six 100 kW units for CNR-1, registered with beams 037, 165 and 217
deg. The listed location is Huikou, but I can't see anything interesting
there.
