JAPAN Ham Fair 2010 was held on August 21 and 22 at Odaiba Island,
Tokyo, with many participants, instead of unusual "killing" heatness in
Tokyo.
Alinco DX-R8 shortwave receiver, and AOR AR-5001D multi-band receiver were
unveiled for the first time. Japan Shortwave Club had also a booth there,
and staffs from HCJB and Voice of Vietnam were attended.
On August 21, JSWC also held the "shortwave lecture" in the nearest
building.
The items were
1. A study on Magnetic Loop Antennas - development of Delta Loop 7 and
Delta Loop 8 Antennas, by Atsuhisa Kageyama.
2. Shortwave World in 2010 - recent trends and measures,
by Takahito Akabayashi.
3. A Hora Japonese - a study on Japanese language broadcasting of the
Japanese community in Brazil, by Tetsuya Hirahara.
