SERBIA on new 9505 kHz via Stubline 10 kW site, 1100-1900 UT daily.
9505 International Radio Serbia. For the first time since NATO airstrike
bombing in 1999 the usual VOICE from Belgrade, heard previously half
century from Stubline 1955-1999, heard again today here in Stuttgart,
Germany on a reliable level.
IRS Stubline was heard Nov 26-28 when checked between 11 and 12 UT, 1115
UT, Nov 27, S=6 on deep fades, up to S=9+10dB, to average S=8 signal
level. Also now checked at 1429-1431 UT and 1540 UT, and I heard the IRS
Belgrade station jingle. Signal strength on equal level with co-channel
BBC NAK in Urdu.
310 / 130 degr. easy dipole at Stubline site.
that looks like a 41 or 31 mb easy dipol.
Serbian music til 1120 UT, at 1121 UT annmt by female in Serbian. 1122 UT
touristic fair? report, Novi Sad mentioned.
[later] 9505 and 7200 kHz were fixed frequencies of Radio Belgrade
Yugoslavia more than 45 years duration to serve to YUG nationals as guest
worker living in Western Europe, from the Fifties til the airstrike
bombing ride of NATO bombers to Stubline in 1999.
The destroyed tx site is about 1 km south/southwest of the village, at
44 33 47.87 N 20 08 36.65 E
I guess the dipole
- Stubline [BEO] operate(d) on 1 simple dipole antenna, with azimuth
of 310 degrees (2 towers and between 3 wires).
now erected again at Stubline used only as fixed frequency,
{?via a mobile TX station?}.
Aleksandr, there is no flexible variation on this hardware to hop across
the 31 mb channels. Annual HFCC membership cost some hundred dollars a
year, IRS can ill afford such IRS annual budget...

Dragan ... I have just tuned 9505 kHz to hear Stubline sign on at 1100 UT
on Nov 27. I'm using an Icom R75 and random long wire, and the signal is a
good one, peaking to S9 on the meter. However, there is continuous
"fading" down to about S6, and occasionally as low as S3. Maybe this has
as much to do with propagation conditions today as it does with the
antenna set up at Stubline. I don't hear any interference - 9510 appears
to be clear, but there is something on 9500 kHz, but currently too weak to
ID. Audio quality is good, and I'm enjoying the music.
