Tuan Haji, We are pls to inform u that align our position with this
decision. There is one remaining RTM station operating in this band. RTM
has already carried out tender exercise to replace this station with new
DRM station this year operating freq outside 7000 to 7200 kHz.

Tuan Haji Aris, Assalamualaikum and Happy New year 2010.
It is observed that Radio Malaysia Sarawak is no more operating on 7.130
MHz. The authorities neighbouring countries, Singapore, Indonesia,
Philipines, Brunei, Australia, India, and the latest Thailand have
released 7.1 to 7.2 MHz for exclusive amateur use as agreed in WRC 03.
I hope MCMC will also follow the other neighbouring countries in releasing
the said portion of the band. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

We have cleared 7100 to 7200 kHz from any broadcasting services since last
year. The remaining station at 7199 kHz has also been cleared. All amateur
radio operator is free to use this band now. Other broadcasting
transmitter from neighbouring is taking their time to clear the band. You
are cordially requested to use only part of the band whenever there is no
such broadcasting service on the air.

Just QSPed via 9M6, sounds like MLA b'cast will be leaving 7100-7200 kHz.
And since 7100-7200 kHz is not on the frequency schedule of our licences,
looks like we have also received permission to operate there.

MALAYSIA [SARAWAK] 5030 RTM Kuching, Jan 14 tuned in time to monitor
the 2-pip timesignal at 1500 UT, this time it was close to correct rather
than 3 seconds late, no doubt having noted my previous observations.
