IBB Biblis and Lampertheim belong to US consulate Frankfurt/Main.
Longwave sender Munich Erching [castle manor] on 173 kHz 1734 mb near
Hallberg-Moos village, and broadcasting house of RFE/RL Munich - English
Garden - , - did belong to General Consulate Munich Germany.
Holzkirchen and Ismaning, as well as former Receiving station (Rhombics)
for overseas reception monitoring at Ueberacker, 18 km west of Munich near
Maisach/Sulzemoos village.
Managed the facilities Funkhaus Englischer Garten, MW&SW transmissions in
Munich Ismaning tx site since 1945, also at Erching since 1952, and also
during erection phase in 1952 on LW 173 and MW Ismaning 1197 kHz in 1949,
as well as RFE/RL site Holzkirchen on MW 719/720 kHz also.
The engineering staff at Ismaning and Lampertheim also worked worldwide at
IBB facilities Holzkirchen, Kuwait, Cyprus, but also in central Asia like
in UZB, TJK etc., as well as on satellite and FM IBB relay gear, in Africa
and in NE/ME on the erection phase of the MW facilities in Djibouti,
Kuwait, UAE etc.
