in USB + carrier mode) and 6134.9v kHz (poor). Day after day with
incredibly fine reception here!
MEXICO 6009.92 Radio Mil, at 0434-0453 UT on June 15. It has been a
long time since I last checked here, back when Voz de tu Conciencia
totally dominated; was nice to find R. Mil completely in the clear now
with almost a fair signal, except for summertime QRN. Played mostly pop
songs; promo for Classic Futbol; many IDs.
6184.95 XEPPM, R. Educacion 0356-0406, June 15. EZL music; Spanish and
English IDs (something like: This is Radio Educacion, shortwave from
Mexico City, XEPPM, 6185 kHz. in the International Band of 49 meters, with
10,000 watts of power); promo in Spanish and English for new series
"discovery of Inca gold, on XEPPM Radio Educacion shortwave from Mexico
City". If one listens long enough here, one is bound to hear some English.
MOROCCO 711 RTM-"R", Laayoune (or whatever spelling El Aiun may have),
1336-..., 21 Jun'10, Arabic/ch. 1 relay, phone-ins, discussion; 35454.
It seems R. Marocaine is decreasing the number of active MF txs; these
were the only ones audible during a midday obs.:
207 Azilal, Tahadart 540, Oujda 595 (not 594 as listed on the WRTH 2010,
p. 279) (today, 21/6 on 595 once again though, but this just happens on
occasions), Sebaa-Aioun 612, Laayoune 711v, Agadir 936 and Sebaa Aioun
1044.
So Sebaa Aioun 702, Rabat 819, Oujda 828, Beni Makada 1053, Casablanca
1080 & 1188, Marrakech (check above page of the WRTH'10) are not to be
heard, and they would be at this distance, day or night, but then as I
seem to remember 702, 828 1053 & 1188 are not noted for quite a long, long
time.
NETHERLANDS [non] RNW World Cup live coverage.
Radio Nederland Wereldomroep via additional frequencies today, the 19th,
7235 ISS 65deg peaking to fair to good strength
9455 BON 320 there was a signal on this frequency but too weak to ID -
not even the trumpets
9595 WER 300 30dB over 9 and very loud on that beam
9620 NAU 11 10dB over 9 and good for those in the lands of
the midnight sun
13700 WER 120 a fair to good signal co-channel with a much weaker unid.
15755 BON 80 audible, but only a weak signal (I missed GUF on this
frequency til 1229)
21485 MDC 45 no trace of anything here
21590 ISS 150 trace of a weak signal here which I think was RNW.
(Noel R. Green-UK, dxld June 19)
Re RNW World Cup Oranje Team.
