Yazykovo ex4485 kHz, 17 kW
Looking at your GE KML file of txer sites I find the above SW TX site
marked. Are these coordinates CONFIRMED? I didn't have the coordinates in
the Extinct SW TXer sites Excel file. Location still low res in GE & BING.
(Ian Baxter-AUS, SW TXsite March 11)
I suppose SW was co-sited in Yazykovo with 693 and 1287 kHz, but in low
resolution and I don't know the exact place.
See Victor's page
maybe he knows?
Yes, Yazykovo is the new site for SW/MW from 1987. Small size and small
antennas so it's hard to find. Somewhere near Yazykovo, the best view till
now
wb: In my archive, I see a log of 4485 by Brasilian DX Club in 2001.
Yazykovo ist not icluded in ITU shortwave location site list of
former USSR. It could be co-located with a big Ufa longwave installation.
Maybe Mauno knows the LW / MW location near Ufa - Bashkortostan ?
